Soda, Snacks, and Water available all weekend for all volunteers during shifts.
BUT before you jump on in to volunteer, here are a few things you MUST AGREE to:
1) ABSOLUTELY NO drinking of beer while pouring or when behind the beer taps/ticket counters etc - even when just taking a break. This might seem obvious, but in the past we have seen people do it. Not only is it against ABC Regulations, but also this could can be detrimental as we may lose the opportunity to pour next year. After your shift is done, physically stand out among the rest of the people in front of the beer taps, ask one of the current pourers to pour you a frosty beverage or two on us.
2) ABSOLUTELY NO giving out ANY free beer and/or tickets to friends. Remember whatever beer consumed at our stage cuts into the OFJC charity's profit. We have to "pay" for every beer poured (consumed) through ticket revenues. We had a few people in the past who would take a break, drink a few (or more beers) and then go back to pouring. Generally having tipsy people serving other tipsy people beers is a bad thing - and against ABC Regulations. This again could lose everything for us.
