| PURPOSE:
The Oceanfront Jaycees Help People....by
offering leadership training opportunities
through community service projects. The Oceanfront
Chapter is lead by an elected Board
of Directors and
appointed OFJC Directors to
provide professional and personal growth through training and
community involvement. We
build leaders!
The
Oceanfront Chapter has members from
the resort area of
Virginia Beach to all over Hampton Roads. Each member can participate
in various functions of each event from
either heading up certain
projects or just want
assisting in the many fundraisers or social activities we
provide.
Either way, we can help you develop organizational and interpersonal
skills to better yourself in the business and social world.
“Jaycees” stands
for the Junior Chamber of Commerce. It is
an international organization of men and women ages 21-40 and
governed by the Jaycee
Creed. The Jaycees have been around since 1920
and has been a prominent organization in leadership training.
