LOCATION
The Oceanfront Jaycees invite all runners and walkers to participate in the 3rd Annual Cinco de Mayo 5K Run to support Camp Virginia Jaycees. The 5K Race course begins and ends on the boardwalk at Neptune's Park on 31st Street and Atlantic Avenue.
FOLLOW THE COURSE
Runners/Walkers must follow the course markers. Course marshals will be located at critical checkpoints on the course. A water stop will be located at mile 2 and the finish line.
REFRESHMENTS
Bottled water, fruit, and bagels will be provided to all participants before and after the race.
All pre-registered 5K entries will receive a goodie bag with their race day packet & t-shirt.
Please note, those who register after April 24th 2012 are not guaranteed a t-shirt. All who register after April 24th will pick up their race
packet on race day starting at 6:30am, no sooner. Race Day registration is $40 per 5k entry.
PACKET PICK UP DATES (pre-registered participants only):
Friday April 27th 2012 from 6:30pm-8:30pm and Saturday April 28th 2012 from 1:30pm-3:30pm at The Blue Turtle (formerly G.F.Keagans) located in
the Hilltop East shopping center on Laskin Road (walk-up registration will be conducted during packet pick-up dates and times at the
pre-registration rate of $30 per 5K entry. Only cash check or money order will be accepted).
WE ASK THAT ALL PRE-REGISTERED PARTICIPANTS PLEASE OBTAIN THEIR PACKET PRIOR TO RACE DAY. If you are unable to retrieve your packet during the
dates and times listed above, you can do so on race day starting at 6:30am (onsite race day registration also begins at 6:30am; please note,
only cash, check or money order will be accepted, all entries will receive a race packet and are not guaranteed a goodie bag or t-shirt.
On Saturday May 5th 2012: 5K Race starts at 8:00am. Bottled water, fruit & bagels will be provided to all participants before and after the race. Various prizes provided by our sponsors will be awarded to participants following the race.
