Donate your New or Slightly Used A/C units!
Bring in your new or slighty used A/C (One Year or Less) units.
We'll clean them, test, and install them in homes of elderly or disabled!

SCRUB-N-CLEAN TEAM
We will have a Scrub n' Clean Day at the locations as unit are donated to make them ready for distribution. Please come out and show your support. Any cash donations will be used to purchase AC install supplies. Then we’ll get it ready for a deserving member of our community!

PR / MARKETING
Help us get the word out to the media and community through various channels and let's start collecting A/C/ Units and get them to people who need them.

Donate Your AC Units To Assist the Elderly and Disabled In Our Community.
The Oceanfront Jaycees are hosting Project Elder Cool, a program designed to provide minimal AC cooling, for the elderly and disabled in our community.

Where can I donate an AC unit?
Soon, we will be kicking off the publicity drive at the Taylor’s Do It Center on 1609 Laskin Rd, Virginia Beach in the Hilltop area. Taylor’s has graciously offered their Laskin Road location to become a drop-off site for those who can donate used and reconditioned AC window units.

Who can apply and qualify for this?
The OFJC’s are working directly with Senior Services of Southeastern Virginia in identifying those in genuine need in the Virginia Beach community. Project Elder Cool is geared towards assisting Senior Citizens 60 yrs. or older, as well as Disabled Adults 50 yrs. or older. HOTLINE! (757) 963-9231

Don't Have An AC Unit, But Still Want To Donate? You can still donate a few bucks towards purchasing new units by dropping off donations at Taylor's Do-It Center anytime. Send gift cards or checks payable to OCEANFRONT JAYCEES to:
